Description: Maplewood Castle is a layout set in Central England. It displays both a small local terminus station as well as a small narrow gauge heritage railway and a lower main line station.
The lower main line is a circuit at which larger trains can be run, reflecting the modern era, higher speed railways.
The heritage narrow gauge line is operated on a shuttle unit, allowing for automated operation, featuring Rheneus from Thomas the Tank Engine, which never fails to entertain the kids!
The upper terminus is manually operated and adds the final touch to the layout offering occasional movement to reflect realistic traffic of small terminus stations.
