Description: Melville Junction was acquired by 32A MRC in early 2024 from a former club member. While the track plan has not been changed the scenery is being refreshed using some existing buildings and some new buildings mostly constructed from plastic and card kits.

Recent additions have been the main road and the bridge over the railway lines, the row of terrace houses and the school. Other roads and buildings will be added as the scenery plan develops; at this stage we do not have a fixed idea as to how the layout will evolve in the future. Temporary mock up's are made and moved around the layout to see what looks best from different viewing points.

Future buildings may be scratch-built using card, foam board covered with styrene profile sheets or printed material sheets, laser cut MDF and plastic sheet.

Locomotives and rolling stock are mostly from Graham Farish but these may be supplemented by addition rolling stock provided by club members.
